Complex case support for busy veterinary partners

At Gigi’s Behavior Services, we know complex behavior cases are time-intensive, emotionally heavy, and difficult to manage alongside an already full caseload. Our goal is simple: to support you — and ensure behavior care doesn’t stall after the first appointment.


We offer a full spectrum of veterinary behavior support designed to integrate seamlessly with your practice.

REFER A CLIENT

How we support you

  • Virtual veterinary behavior services provided directly to your client  
  • Clear referral agreement and defined prescribing handoff at the 14-day mark, in compliance with Ohio regulations  
  • Comprehensive case management, client communication, and follow-up  
  • In-person or virtual behavior modification led by our behavior team  
  • Optional 1:1 vet-to-vet conversations with our board-certified veterinary behaviorist before the first prescription transfer  


You’ll never be left wondering “what’s next.” We manage the behavior case — with you, not around you. 

Virtual Veterinary Behavioral Medicine

Upon referral, your clients will meet virtually with Dr. Shana Gilbert-Gregory, MS, DACVB, for a comprehensive 45-minute veterinary behavior evaluation. Together, they will explore the underlying causes of their pet’s behavior and develop a personalized treatment and behavior modification plan moving forward.

 

Clients will receive: 

  • Comprehensive medical and behavior assessment
  • Immediate safety and management plans
  • Vet behavior modification & training plan overview
  • Psychopharmacology assessment, plan and prescriptions when needed
  • Further diagnostic recommendations & veterinary coordination

Vet-to-Vet Behavior Medication Consult

For cases where you’re seeking targeted psychopharmacology guidance, we also offer direct vet-to-vet behavior medication consults. We handle payment and scheduling with the client — you simply pick up the phone.

Behavior Referral Program

 This spring, Gigi’s Behavior Services will launch a referral program designed to support veterinary partners through meaningful service credits and discounts for recommending our behavior services to clients.


The program is built to reduce friction in behavior case management, support continuity of care, and recognize the time and trust involved in guiding clients toward the right next step.
